WIP Collective

WIP COLLECTIVE is an artist duo composed of Jérôme Boulanger and Thibaut Drouillon. Through artistic choices driven by digital technologies, they analyze reality as a collection of fictions and seek to deconstruct the fundamental aspects of artistic production. In order to question collective imagery and view symbols related to a shared culture from a different perspective, their work often employs graphic language forms as well as cartographic representations. Moreover, digital programming allows them to step away from total control over the final form of their creations and to make room for chance in the creative process. In this way, the images, devices, and installations they present highlight a generative and physical process that is constantly evolving. Their artistic practice strives to avoid becoming fixed in a stable or definitive form.
