Born in Palermo (Italy) in 1997, Sergio Sauro is a visual artist who swims in the world of ideas with a language rooted in his own reality. He lets himself be guided by the murmur hidden in the folds of the landscape. He tries to capture ephemeral silhouettes to transfigure, dissect and reconstruct them, to breathe new essence and meaning into them. But beyond this quest for lost forms, it is in the crucible of his memories and sensations that he draws his inspiration, and his sensitivity for matter.
Constantly oscillating between abstraction and realism, his work is an ode to the hidden beauty of things and the infinite richness of the material and the infinite richness of the human experience. Master's degree in progress at ENSAV La Cambre Drawing.
