Marie Bertrand, born in Belgium in 1995, is developing a multidisciplinary artistic practice ranging from performance to video, including installation, sound, sculpture, painting, drawing, bookbinding and crafting homemade paper. She obtained a Bachelor's degree in painting (ESA le 75) in 2017, a Bachelor's degree in Image Dans le Milieu (Arts2) in 2019 and a Master's degree in Image Dans le Milieu (Arts2) in 2021. Her artistic approach is essentially based on what she experiences on a daily basis, her joys and happiness, but also her pain, fears and anxieties. Her questions range from the world of work to her condition as a woman, as well as childhood, death, the body, the absurd, humour and bread as a societal mirror.
