Flora Ferrari

I was born in Nice and received my DNSEP with honors from the jury at Villa Arson in 2023. During my studies, I quickly became interested in the products of History—a history that seems doomed to repeat itself endlessly. This repetition constantly renders us melancholic and disturbs our emotional states. I try to create an experimental ground where I attempt to translate these new affects into visual form and focus on the impact these forms can have on us. Through a practice centered on sculpture, drawing, and installation, I seek to create spaces haunted by unsettling objects. I live in Brussels, where I work as an art handler and continue my artistic practice.
