Mia is a writer and performer based in Brussels.
Her many personalities emerge as she takes over the codes of display, where everything becomes an excuse to blur fiction and reality.
After playing a fake TV host in an interview with Bigfoot, nail polish, and pizza, she took it to real life in the Bozar lobby during Museum Night Fever — and especially in the now-cult show CCTV Casual Creep TV, co-directed with Inès Guffroy.
The characters she creates are often "experts" (in everything): hosting seminars, being chic, officiating weddings, reading mediation texts in a swimsuit, discussing cinephilia — she co-directed the cinematic masterpiece PPP le film (a short film)… and even played the guru of a cult with intoxicating twists in the performance Keep Care and Just Calm, among others.
Through various media — live or on screen, from objects to radio, from text to image — she tells stories that blend the absurd, the fake, and the fun.
Mia is also the lead singer of the PPP band.
She works in publishing, graphic design, voice-over, writes songs, and tries to explain it all to her therapist.
