Louis Lallier

Louis Lallier was born in Normandy in 1996, he currently lives and works in Brussels. After a Master's degree at the Beaux Arts in Rouen, he continued his studies at the Académie Royale des Beaux Arts of Brussels in the "exhibition practice" section. In 2020 he co-founded the Rolabola exhibition space, of which he is artistic director. Louis Lallier uses tools from the social sciences, iconography and scenography to understand the artistic 'thing'. As he strolls through the city, Louis Lallier collects objects, situations, sounds, smells and behaviours. Once he has collected enough, he puts them all through a sieve to extract a dense syrup. This syrup is the raw material for his installations.
