In her fragile, sometimes imperceptible images, Julia Renaudot deliberately chooses to veil her image, giving them an appearance that would vaguely correspond to the feeling of a distant, evanescent memory; a dream that would have inhabited us long ago. This is what she calls the "reflective-image", an important thread running through her work.
Recently, her works have been created as immersive installations, allowing the viewer to wander as they please. She pays homage to dewelling.
Julia Renaudot is a young French artist based in Brussels. She began her studies at Cégep Saint-Laurent in Montreal, before moving on to a bachelor's and master's degree in painting at the École nationale des arts visuels La Cambre, where she graduated in 2021.
