Atalante Gournay

Atalante studied interior design at Saint-Luc in Brussels, as well as textile design at textile design at Francisco Ferrer. Her studies enabled her to merge her two worlds and gave her the desire to experiment. As the eighth child in a family of ten, she grew up in enchanted chaos, surrounded by very different personalities. One question emerged through it all: where do we get our tastes from? As a nostalgic designer, she searches the essence of kitsch, with the aim of achieving the excessive. Influenced by memory and recollection, her creations invite us to plunge back into our childhood.
